Comment: I agree. Worst. Sequel. Ever! They had all the nerve to destroy the John Smith/Pocahontas love story from the first film! This is one film that the Walt Disney Company really should disown for sure. At least the direct-to-video sequels aren't really regarded as "canon" by the company anyway.

Comment: It sucks that this sequel was so bad because Pocahontas is such a great movie IMO. Why do Disney sequels have to be so freakin' bad? And did anyone else see a bizarre familiarity b/t the London song in this movie and the song "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast? BTW, loved the "Whole New World" joke. And you're not alone dude, I liked Thomas too.

Comment: No offense, man. I just thought he had a lot of bad press because of "Passion", but I liked both "Passion" and "Superstar" as well. Didn't mean to be nitpick.

Comment: @Devon What does 'The Passion' have to do with anything? I was making fun of Gibson through his rants. And despite how I may think of him as a person, I respect him as an actor and director. I think 'The Passion' is a very well made film (though I prefer 'Jesus Christ Superstar' personally). And yes, I know 'Pocahontas' and 'Chicken Run' were before all that. That's what makes looking back on them so funny.

Comment: Look, I thought that "Pocahontas" was good too, but what brings it down is its seriousness! The reason Disney made it this way is because they had much more faith in that movie than "The Lion King" and were hoping for it to get another Best Picture Oscar nomination. It's not terrible, but I think it's a little TOO dark, if you ask me. Also, STOP MAKING FUN OF MEL GIBSON! Look, I know he made "The Passion of the Christ", but he played John Smith in "Pocahontas" and Rocky the Rooster in "Chicken Run" BEFORE that! BTW, nice "Pinnochio" joke. XD

Comment: I remember being unimpressed with this even as a child. And you are right, why the hell would you hold a childs movie to historic accuracy? *coughNostalgicChick* Thats just nitpicking.

Comment: Good work summing this one up. I'm glad I passed on it when it came out.
