Comment: ok, i have to disagree and agree on some points of this movie. first off: Stephan, it's not a bad movie. sure it wasn't great but it could have been worse. the animation is good, the songs are great (for kids if i might add) and the idea of seeing ariel's daughter have the same problems as her mom did, only different. but, for Nootrac, i'd have to agree on stephan. yes, it was a bad film for a disney sequel, but better than most, and the songs, again, are only good for kids. and no, i disagree with you nootrac, the first one was better than this movie.

Comment: Blame me calling them eels on the fact they're basically Flotsam and Jetsam from the first movie. :P @Jacob: Sometimes, but it's gotten a whole lot easier now. The hardest part is the editing, however.

Comment: Uh...I may only like this movie only a tiny bit (emphasis on 'TINY'), but you keep calling the Manta Rays 'eels', even though they're not even close. But anyway, yeah I can understand WHY you don't like it. But anyway, just be happy when John Lassider came in, he knocked out all the future plans of direct-to-video movies.

Comment: Great job on this one. I remember watching the trailer for this one when I was in high school. That ALONE was disappointing. And how they couldn't laugh at what they did to Flounder is beyond me completely.

Comment: Dear God, not the Disney DTV sequels! Yeah, this is basically a recycled movie with a different character, ain't it? Morgana has got to be one of the lamest animated villains of all time - she got beaten by a little girl, for crying out loud! It took a friggin' BOAT through the gut to stop Ursula! And I actually liked the songs from this movie, nowhere near as beautiful as the songs from the original, but still pretty nice. Great review, Stephan! PS, Does does anyone else get goosebumps from hearing Jodi Benson (Ariel's voice actress) singing? She just has such a beautiful voice!
