Comment: i like this show, as it's style of writing is unique compared to other toons on tv nowadays. my favorite episode is the football-x7 episode where they play soccer with ferb's cousins from england, and the subplot where candace learns how to be ladylike, courtesy of her step-cousin eliza.(irony, considering the play pygmalion)Because she thinks jeremy would like her better if she were british.

Comment: I've actually watched some episodes of this show after a brief hastle with a demanding Phineas and Ferb adoring DeviantArtist and I guess I was also influenced by Stefan's words on the Lake Monster episode. It's decent entertainment, not exactly my cup of tea, but I understand it's appeal to many. One of the things I notice with this show is that everyone is an intresting character thats fun to write a story or joke for, except for Phineas and Ferb themselves. The subplots involving Perry and Doofenshmirtz are the real reason why I watched more than five episodes.

I never saw the original but still gave the new one a shot. If anything, the fact that it has anvils in it (so far one instance of one falling on someone's head) should be somewhat inviting)

Comment: Ah, Phineas and Ferb. One of the few GOOD cartoons on today (along with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, SpongeBob SquarePants and the occasional episode of The Looney Tunes Show). I also love the music the show has to offer, but my personal favorite song would have to be "Busted." Great review, Mr. Coat! PS, since you like Animaniacs and the music so much, would you consider doing a top 10 list of your favorite Animaniacs songs? That'd be cool!

Comment: This is the only good show on The Disney channel these days. it's one of those shows that's naturally funny and reminiscent of great cartoons past, it also helps that it's creators worked on a lot of 90's cartoons.

Comment: I'm a huge fan of animated sitcoms. This show is pretty awesome, and has some great sight gags, I also like the idea of seizing the day and using your imagination. Based on that I would have to say that Adventure Time is probably the best animated show for kids I've seen in a very long time. Chowder was also pretty incredible, but alas it is now over. Regular show is pretty low-brow, but very hilarious. Good Episode Stefan

Comment: I totally agree that Phineas & Ferb is the best new show on television. My favorite character has to be Candace, I love her wacky misadventures and her psychotic rambling, she's like the modern day female Daffy Duck.Of course Doof and Perry are always enjoyable as well, with Doof's hilariously idiotic plans and Perry's deadpan reactions. With great writing, voice acting, animation and songs, Phineas & Ferb is truly a fantastic show!

Comment: Povenmire also worked as a director on 'Hey Arnold' (One of the best cartoons ever made). Really nice review :) I especially like what you said about the relationship between Perry and Doofy, just because you worded it so nicely and described it perfectly. And yeah, while it's not my number one (Don't worry it's still in the top 5) 'Summer Belongs To You' is probably the best song from the series just the way it can not only inspire you, but make you dance and sing as well. Very nice review, great job ^-^ Btw, I don't know if you heard, but there's currently a Phineas and Ferb live show touring around. I don't know where you live, but it just went through my homestate Iowa a week or two ago. And like the nerd that I am, I went to go see it.... It was awesome :) Despite the usual corniness of a Disney live show, it still had the charm of the series, it's hilarious, it has great songs we all know and love, and I would definitely check it out if it comes to your city.
