Comment: I remember seeing that PSA on YTV a lot too before teletoon. Going on about that PSA when the tv channels are turning you see reboot, uh-oh (it was a kids game show)but whats the 3rd one (the one with the dragon? dinosaur?) I remember watching it when I was young and it always bugged me that I didn't remember what it was the millions of time I saw that PSA. Anyone know? Does that PSA have a spot on wiki that you could look it up? As for the rest I liked Ned's newt for a long time before major over playing of the show killed it for me. I also loved Dilbert. It was a shame that show was so short lived. As for what it is now I can't stand it. every time I turn it on it seems to be that johnny test show. I don't even like it and I have seen most of it. That being said teletoon retro is my go to channel too. The other day I was up later then normal and at 12:30 power rangers the first one came on and I was shocked. Seeing my fav show as a child on a network that said "retro" beside a superman show from the 70's made me feel so old. ._.

Comment: YTV, Fox Kids and Teletoon were my childhood. Eventually I did get Family Channel as well and that became part of my childhood too. I wish YTV, Fox and Family would come out with their own Retro Channel as I really miss a lot of the shows I used to watch. I remember actually being upset around Sept 11th 2001 because my cartoons were canceled. I was 10 at the time, so I was kind of selfish and didn`t get what was going on.

Comment: Interesting to note how Canada is the only country that does not have their own version of the American channels. Like Cartoon Network Mexico, or Disney Channel India, or Nickelodeon Germany, etc, etc. We have Teletoon (our equivalent to Cartoon Network), YTV (our equivalent to Nick), and Family (our equivalent to Disney Channel). It so weird when I visit the States and see the same shows but at different times and with different commercials and such. Americans would be thrown off in Canada. Like how Zoey 101, a Nick show, is aired on Family, a show that airs mostly Disney programming. I'm used to it because I've lived in Toronto my whole life. It is really odd, when you think about it though.

Comment: OMG! I totally remember that ad with that talking t.v. Isn't it weird to see a t.v. inside your t.v. just suddenly talk back to you like that? Nonetheless, Teletoon has played an important role in my childhood. Without it I would never have been introduced to Hanna-Barbara's great animated shows like "Scooby-Doo". I also considered "Ned's Newt" one of my favourites. p.s. This is a lot shorter than all your other videos, Mr. Coat.

Comment: Wow, yet another unexpected one from you. First of all, that title card is adorable. Anyway, this was a very good tribute. Teletoon and YTV are pretty much my childhood, even more so than the Disney channel. BTW, when is your look back at the animated films of 2011 coming?
