Comment: You mean J.R.R. Tolkien, right? Or are you trying to combine J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien into one person?
I like "The Dark Crystal" I prefer it to "Labyrinth"... it is kinda scary, though... for little kids, I mean... I LOVE JIM HENSON!!! I want more movies w/ puppets!!!
His company did marvelous work on "Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy"
The 1980's was a scary decade...
I don't think it needs a sequel, either...

Comment: I could not get connected on this site, but I watch your series on youtube and enjoyed it so much. I consider myself a walking animation encyclopedia! The interviews were great, and commentary was great, The editing was near perfect. I can see that you really worked hard on this. I am a 52 year old baby boomer and did not get bored at bit! Wow! Kudos to the director, interviewers, and producers of this series. Please email me information at my animated networking site on your next episode. www.onesaturdaymorning.hi5.com
Reviews: Magical, Entertaining, and a great walk into the world of Jim Henson! Remembering one of his best crowning achievement of the big screen.
**We should recommend this movie as historical through American Film Institute. Has this movie been release on Blu-Ray yet boy it really would be stunning on screen with a digital restored.

Comment: To Jacob: Fantasy mostly, but sometimes fairy tales can get humorous or dark. So mainly it's fantasy but sometimes it can connect with other generes depending on the premese and film.

Comment: THAT...was awesome! I really like how this series is starting out. It's very well written in it's narration, the editing is good, it's done very much documentary style and it's got a LOT of great potential.
Man, you're gonna find this funny, but when I was kid a didn't quite like this movie. I was more a fan of "Labyrinth." "The Dark Crystal" didn't have David Bowie doing the "Magic Dance." But then, I saw it again as an adult and I was blown right the heck away by it. I was amazed at the level of detail, the technical scope of the film, the story and it's characters and all that went into making it. You guys did a good job of covering all that in this first episode. Well, done.
