Comment: I agree with Filmbuff on the final part! He makes a great statement about Pinnochio being scarier than Balck Caludron but Pinnochio was released when the PG rating did not exist! If I had to give it a rating it would be PG PERMANATELY! That film makes Ridley and Bowser look like wimps! But if you like it I'll stand by you with it don't say it's the best Disney film ever that title belong to Snow White! I love Gurgi!

Comment: There's a live action Disney Robinhood movie?! I didn't know that... as for the animated one, I quite like it. I think it has some really good songs... the best; the heartwrenching, "Not in Nottingham" and "Love." (Fun Fact: 2 Disney references were made in the recent film "The Fantastic Mr. Fox, one of them is the Davy Crockett theme song, and the other is the song "Love"... appropriate b/c in Robinhood Marian and Robin are foxes...) I LOVE WINNIE THE POOH!!! I love the animated series as well... my favorite is "The Blustery Day" b/c of the fantastic dream sequence that is so similar in tone and content to the "Pink Elephant Sequence" in "Dumbo." In fact you could easily switch the audio on these 2 segments, and it would still work pretty well. I don't care for "The Rescuers" that much... I don't know exactly why... I just don't... OH... NO! NO! NO! Not another defender of "Return to Oz" okay... let's compromise... you hate "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" b/c it's not true to the book. WELL "RETURN TO OZ" IS THE WORST ADAPTATION OF ANY BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW GO READ AN OZ BOOK!!! First of all it nonsensically combines 3 different books, gets several characters completely wrong, and it's ANOTHER DREAM!!! That was the big mistake made in THE FIRST ONE!!! Ack! Plus... WTF is Dorothy in that weird place in the beginning? She's supposed to be with her Aunt and Uncle!!! I gotta calm down... As for "The Black Cauldron" ... I like it! I'm sad about the new Disney logo... I miss the old one...

Comment: Here's my response to your bash against The Black Cauldron. (In style of whiny Ankin Skywalker and D.McNitpick from NC's top 11 *****ups and Nc's whiny Robin) High Whiny voice: (whiny gibberish)...Star Wars,Lord of the rings knock off...(more whiny gibberish). The Movie was based on a real LOTR/Narina knock off Called The Chronicles of Prydain. I'm glad Disney changed it so they didn't get sued by Ralph Baskhi for his movie version. And was one of Disney's darkest films until Hellfire From The Hunchback Norte Dame.

Comment: Now, I love Robin Hood, The Rescuers, and The Fox and the Hound. Those are good movies, but I like The Rescuers the most out of those three. And as for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, I choose to watch the original shorts. As for the Black Cauldron, yeah, I never heard about that movie before, but I've watched it a while ago, and I enjoyed it. Yeah, it is scary, but I like the main heroes like Taran, Eilonwy, Gurgi, and of course, Fflewddur. As for the Horned King and the Creeper, they are creepy villians. But as for The Secret of Nimh, that became one of my new favorties. It's really a good movie.

Comment: Is The Black Cauldron popular now? And did critics warmed up to it over the years? That Fellow: Black Cauldron is kind of forgotten as Disney wants to bury it. It wasn't released on video until 1998!

Comment: P.S. I was also really offended when you bashed Willy wonka and the choclate factory. Even if I did like story of the remake a bit better.(and i did read the book like you). Please don't try to do something like that again.

Comment: I am offended by your Black Cauldron rant. It isn't a masterpeice like Fantasia or Pinocchio but dosen't mean i don't like it and i agree what the filmbuff said about The Black Cauldron. p.s. the dark age of diney (the 70's, not the 40's ) didn't have the quality that made the ones by walt disney good.

Comment: The filmbuff has right, The Black Couldron kicks ass! It has edge,a fantastic storie and one of the most evil villains in disney history, The only thing I didt like about the movie was that lame ending.

Comment: No, I'm just looking in-depth at the official Disney animation cannon. I will touch extremely briefly on Roger Rabbit and Pixar, but I will talk a lot more about Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, etc.

Comment: Since you're going into the 80s, the period where Eisner took over and Disney underwent radical changes, will you also be covering animated features from their spinoff company, Touchstone, or is it Walt Disney only?
