Comment: @William Nope, it's Chernabog alright and Deems Taylor was talking about the musical piece being used not the animated segment. This webpage might prove it. http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Chernabog#Behind_the_Scenes

Comment: You should know that Bambi is based on a Felix Salten book which some critics believe that it's one of the first environmental novels. And it was originally aimed for adults.

Comment: I really like this! Although... I must say Disney was really a story guy... he apparantly wasn't very good at drawing... he was just good at self-promotion... that legacy the studio continues... anyway, not to give him a bad name, but... I was thinking about him a lot... he reminds me of my grandfather... the picture I draw of Walt, from what I know about studio history, is that if you were on his good side you were in glad company so to speak, but if you crossed him you were in trouble. I don't know if you know about the big animator strike that happened during the 1940's... also Walt was perhaps a bit too cooperative with HUAC during that whole mess... that ugliness aside... he was a leader, but we have to remember to give due credit to everybody else who worked their butts off to get these movies made. One man can't build an empire...

Comment: I know you like making top 10 lists. Well, I saw a very different Disney-related top 9 list of the Top 9 Most Racist Disney Characters, which can be seen here: http://www.cracked.com/article_15677_9-most-racist-disney-characters.html Also, possibly the weirdest Mickey Mouse show I saw was this one from Palestine promoting terrorism and anti-American/Israeli sentiment to kids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY0zE64thJ4 (Obviously, Disney had nothing to do with this. It's still kind of creepy.) But hey, Disney is still awesome, even if it has a sordid past. Even those movies that are commonly cited as being racially-insensitive are still timeless classics. After all, those were different times, except for Aladdin, which is still awesome.
