Comment: I really like "Brother Bear" even though it's not really on par with many other Disney films... Bolt was okay... BUT I HATE MILEY CYRUS... not on a personal level of course, but... she should not voice act... and neither should Dakota Fanning...
I LOVE THE PRINCESS & THE FROG TO PIECES!!! I just wish it was longer... I wanted to see more of Facilier... he didn't get nearly enough screen time...
I'm looking forward to "Tangled" although I wish it was hand drawn... it still looks rather nice...
I also really like "Enchanted"... my favorite parts are the animated bits... even though they're short and only at the beginning and end...

Comment: Brother Bear was great. it shows you how you forgive people for their sins and stuff like that and enjoy nature. and the sequel was great too. Home on the Range was good. Chicken Little was disappointing and so was Meet the Robinsons. never saw Bolt because i didn't want to see it. The Princess and the Frog was excellent!

Comment: Well, for Brother Bear, I'll try it out sometime soon. As for Home On The Range, meh that at first, but then I've decided to give it a try and actually, I enjoyed it. But yes, Chicken Little is unworthy as well as The Wild. I rather watch Valiant instead. Meh, Robinsons. Well, I should think about Bolt. But yeah, The Princess And The Frog! That movie rocked! As for the future, I am planning on going to see The New Winnie The Pooh movie, King Of The Elves, Snow Queen, and better films of the future. In conclusion, great look back videos you've got there. I've enjoyed all 10 of them.

Comment: That movie scared me more than any other animated movies. Mostly because of the Ghost of Christmas Yet-To-Come and Those creepy,Gollum looking kids Ignorance and Want. I would recommend seeing it if you are a fan of the book and some fans say the movie was almost faithfully adapted ,if they toned down the dark tone.

Comment: During that time, I'd say Disney was like the Montreal Canadiens. That there was the lockout that cancelled the season 2004-2005, and during that same time, there was the second "save Disney" war. I hope that Halak that was traded to the St. Louis Blues and Rapunzel that was changed to Tangled are not two big mistakes. That's my comparison.

Comment: the princess and the frog is such a great story, i think thats foolishness to the people who changed the title Rapunzel into Tangled just because they thought that princess and the frog didn't make that much money and they think the word princess didn't empress the boys at all just because they think it's too girly! that's foolishness!!!!! some boys liked it!

Comment: Nice look back, Fellow. Hopefully only the good Disney movies appear in Kingdom Hearts. It's questionable now with Return of Jafar and Chicken Little presented in the game. Oh, I thought that Brother Bear was one of Disney's weakest movies.

Comment: Can you describe for me what a Pet projekt is and what more exactly is a cannon ?
Please tell me becose I would understand your videos betteter.
ThatFellow: A pet project is a very personal project that somebody has been nurturing for a long time. In the case of Rapunzel, Glen Keane has been working on it for ten years now. A canon is a specific continuity a franchise adheres to, although in this case, the Disney canon are the feature films done by the studio's feature animation department.
Daniel Laux I like your idea of an animated film about Lewis & Clark becose its pretty easy to make two guys in the forest to look like idiots
(the simpsons made an episode exactly like that, hilarious)

Comment: Mr Fellow I have a theory to why Chicken Little did well at the box office, I know at least why I saw it. The Trailer was wery promesing and very effektiv and was promes an action packt comedi, but I most agree that Disney made an as of theam self when they did that crap movie!
sorry that my english is not the best.

Comment: Robert: I am doing a tribute to John Lasseter, but that's close as I'm going to get to a Pixar look back. There's an excellent ninety-minute documentary on the Wall-E special edition called "The Pixar Story" that is highly recommended and I would pretty much just be repeating what they say in that documentary.

Comment: This was a great closing video to the disney look back =D It's so amazing to see how disney has changed and developed over the years, I hope princess and the frog will be a hit the only thing that worries me is that(on youtube comments) there is a good number of people who find it racist =( and just from one little trailer, though when I went to go see up a trailer for it played and I heard the people behind me say they wanted to see it =) as for me Im seeing it for sure, what is the exact release date?
Also mr. Fellow that closing speech with the disney montage was stunning and wonderfully well written =D

Comment: Yes, I do like Fantasia 2000 very much. Watch my look back at Disney's Animated Features (1996-1999) to see my thoughts on it.
And Daniel, The Snow Queen is in the rumour mill, but Disney hasn't confirmed they will be making it yet. Those are some interesting ideas. I have long felt that Gargoyles (and other Disney Afternoon series) should be brought back in direct-to-video features.

Comment: Dear Mr. Fellow,
You probably know by now that I am a huge fan of this website. I'll tell you, I HATED Chicken Little. I think that is one of Disney's weakest (even weaker than The Black Cauldron). Anyway, you forgot to mention another future Disney flick. I heard that they might adapt Hans Christian Anderson's The Snow Queen into a film. But aside from that, the other films look good.
Can I spill a secret? Because I want to be a writer when I get older, I would love to work on screenplays for Disney films. I have some ideas for films. Here they are:
*White Elephant (a film about the strong friendships between a white elephant, a crane, a prince from Thailand, & a princess from Laos)
*Momotaro (an adaptation of the Japanese fairy tale)
*The Firebird (not the Fantasia 2000 segment, but an adaptation of Stravinsky's ballet)
*Animal Farm (an adaptation of George Orwell's novel, only made more kid friendly)
*Lewis & Clark (a film about the two famous explorers, only funny)
*The Journey (a mockumentary about puffins finding love)
*Gargoyles (an adaptation of Disney's hit series, Gargoyles)
Please tell me what you think about these films. Do you think these would be good films? Is there anything you would like to see Disney do?
Thank you for your time.
-Danny
P.S., you did an excellent job with this Look Back at Disney Animated Features series. If there is an award for this kind of thing, you deserve it.

Comment: "One of the most embarrassing entries in the Disney Canon"
HA! Good one. That film was such an abomination to the Canon if you ask me. It not only suffered from what you pointed out, but the canon mixed between CGI and 2D films which was a very crucial mistake.

Comment: I am extremely excited for The Princess and the Frog. Nothing Disney has released thus far related to it has disappointed me. It really does look amazing and I think it will definitely be a hit at the box-office.
I will talk about DreamWorks in a couple of months as well as going over the Spielberg-produced toons (both his films and series). As for Pixar, there's an excellent documentary on the Wall-E special edition that looks at the history of Pixar. Anything I would have to say about it would pale in comparison to that, so that's why I'm not doing a look back at Pixar.

Comment: I am so excited about the Princess and the Frog. I have been waiting since spring of 2009. The interesting thing is that before I knew about it, I was telling my sister that even though we grew up in a digital age, I prefer to see a traditional animated Disney movie because of all the wonderful memories of watching them with my family. I have no doubt in my mind that this movie will do great at the box office. Are you going to talk about Pixar, Dreamworks, and Amblimation in the future?
