Comment: I suggest do to a remake and I've got one fantastic suggestion; Horrble Histories (BBC) I have the first season on DVD and it's basically a sketch show made up of different time periods (Roman, Incan, Stone Age ect) Look it up! Mention the books if you can!

Comment: Oh my gosh, I used to LOVE Wishbone and Bill Nye the Science Guy, but Magic School Bus was the cream of the crop. I still watch it whenever it comes on TV sometimes (and I'm 20, people! THAT'S how great of a show it is!) And now I'm going to sing Yakko's geography song: "United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Haiti, Jamaica, Peru, Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean, Greenland, El Salvador too...Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guyana and still, Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina, and Ecuador, Chile, Brazil!"

Comment: The current Barney the Dinosaur series has hit rock bottom. Gone was the humour after it got, gone were the memorable characters, and the the songs are bland and unoriginal and worst of all after they sing a song, 1-2 minutes later they sing another one!!! and that's during 2003-6. Nowadays it's just him with a blank background and a badly-suntanned new character called Riff.
Thank goodness Teletubbies got cancelled.

Comment: "What does it mean to "talk down to the audience?" And what's a Nello?"
To talk down to the audience essentially means when a film or a show speaks to the viewer as if they were un-intelligent.
And a Nello is a little hand-puppet that seems to be following me around, stuffing his opinions down my throat. ;-) Hope those answer your questions.

Comment: Dear Mr. Fellow,
I am a huge fan of this website. I noticed that you said that this was a top 11 list. You forgot to put in a 9. I think for a #9 spot, you should mention Blue's Clues. I loved that show as a kid. And it did teach us all sorts of things. Not to mention, it had a blue dog.
Anyway, I think this is a good list. I loved Bobby's World, Sesame Street, Histeria, Animaniacs, Bill Nye, and Magic School Bus as a kid. They taught me all sorts of stuff. I wouldn't be such a genius if it weren't for these shows.
Thank you for reading.
-Danny
PS: What does it mean to "talk down to the audience?" And what's a Nello?

Comment: I LOVED THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS and Bill Nye. And Animaniacs was (As the Nostalgia Critic said in his Surf Ninjas review) GEEEENIUUUUUS!!!(I've never seen Beakman's World, though.) Certainly better than School House Rock.
This just shows that when it comes to the then-new FCC-initiated requirements, producers don't have to make laughably bad, inconceivably awesome PSAs like on GI Joe (Now you know, and knowing is half the battle! GEEE-IIIIII-JOOOOOOOE!), He-Man, Sailor Moon's Sailor Says (Made of recycled clips from Sailor Moon Episodes) Transformers, and of course, ADVENTURES OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG with Sonic Sez. (That's no good!)

Comment: Tec Toy was going to make Castelo Ra-Tim-Bum Master System game in the 90's, but according to IGN it was canceled. Wikipedia said it came out in Brazil, though.
Good vid as usual.
