Comment: I have always loved Garfield, and I always will. "Garfield and Friends" is one of my favorite animated TV shows of all time, I hated the movies, and as for "The Garfield Show". I don't think it's the worst show ever, but the writing is pretty weak, it's way too wacky for a Garfield show, also the CGI isn't very good, and it makes the characters head's look like baloons. But it's not entirely awful, I'd say it's mediocre. Anyway, good job! This is one of your best "Character Profile" episodes. P.S. Why wasn't "Garfield and Friends" in your top 30 greatest animated series'? Please write back.

Comment: I LOVE GARFIELD... loved Garfield & Friends... but hated the movie(s)... mostly b/c... the plot was stupid, and seeing the CGI Garfield when ALL the other animals were real or at least realistic... was rather jarring... I also think they picked a bad John Arbuckle... in fact I didn't like anyone in that cast... odie didn't look like odie... Garfield was too cartoony to fit into the world... I disagree that Murry did a good job w/the voice... more like okay... and yeah... that dang stupid plot...

Alan Menken and Howard Ashman wrote the song. As for the Garfield feature, well, it's probably easily rentable at Blockbuster or your local library.
