Comment: I never noticed that "essentially the same plot as SW thing before"... good one... I like Daniel... then again... maybe it's just b/c he's so cute... I'll try just about any movie if it's got a good amount of Alan Rickman in it. HE ROCKS!!! BUT OMG WAS HE ABSENT FROM HIS BOOK!!! Yeah... I know this is an old movie, but having seen the 6th movie... I'M MAD AS HELL that there was a SEVERE LACK OF ALAN RICKMAN!!! Meh... I like Azkaban the best... both the book and the movie... but that's just me... the 4th book was so contrived and... just nonsensical... that I gave up reading the series after that... my dad somehow thought I wanted the next one, and bought it for me... I still haven't read it completely... but looked at parts of it... mostly to see how close the movie stuck to it... I still go see the movies b/c they're kinda fun, and I like to see fantasy stuff as much as possible even if it's not quite up to snuff... also I think Daniel is cute... I already said that... Anyway... I really wish we hadn't stumbled into a giant plothole in book 4... two I think, actually... 1. THE PLOT W/THE CUP AS THE PORTKEY... this makes NO SENSE for many reasons... A. Too complex, B. Too difficult to pull off, C. They should have kidnapped Harry while he was at Privet Drive... I really don't see why they couldn't have easily done this... 2. THE TRI-WIZARD TOURNAMENT IS STUPID!!! Who would let their kid compete in such a tournament? What would have happened if Harry hadn't competed? Would it have been the end of the world? WHY DO THEY HAVE THIS STUPID THING ANYWAY? Enough ranting... but I just can't forgive such major plot holes... It's really too bad Richard Harris passed away... it was a big loss for these movies...

Comment: I wonder what the Artemis Fowl movies would be like? I always felt the FIRST and SECOND arry Potter movies were the best. The rest just leave out too much. The third one I liked only for Sirus Black-the actor they got for him was good. But why did they decide that Hogwarts wasn't a uniform school? Why the normal clothes? ( The new Dumbledore didn't hit it off with me either. And why was Fenrir Greyback so underplayed in Half Blood Prince? And why downplay Snape? HE WAS THE BIG DEAL OF THE BOOK! )
