Comment: i loved Avatar and it should've won an academy award for best picture instead of The Hurt Locker. people should be a shame of themselves for putting the Hurt Locker as best picture!

Comment: Despite his enormous ego (a part of me would really love to see him make a bomb - most of the greatest directors have made at least one) and his rudimentary dailogue-writing skills, I have nothing but admiration and respect for him. I'm glad there are geniuses like him as well as Peter Jackson, Ridley Scott and of course Spielberg and Lucas etc. who realize that visuals do not alone a great movie make, unlike the sultans of superficiality Michael Bay and Roland Emmerich. You should be so proud to have him as one of your countrymen, man, even if he's a naturalized US citizen now.
Oh, and two other things: if you think Kate Winslet didn't think much of him that's nothing compared to the effect he had on Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio - during the filming of The Abyss he was so strict with her that she had a nervous breakdown on the set (and Winslet at least admitted he was a nice man on average). And one of the funniest bits of movie trivia I have EVER come across is that he wanted O. J. Simpson to play the Terminator, but the studio thought no one would buy O. J. as a mass murderer. Whoops.

Comment: OMG! Avatar is such a good movie. Everything about it is Oscar worthy. My favorite thing about the movie other than the enviromental and spiritual messages is the Original Score by James Horner. The Terminator films are good as is Titanic.
