Comment: Good Review. As an aspiring firm director I consider Jaws my bible as it is pretty much the stardard by which all films are judged, it is really that good. Ironically the sequels tended to get worse the more they showed the shark. Then in Jaws the Revenge they turned the shark into a supernatural monster which was just rediculous, despite how stupid the movies got I still admire the cinematograhpy.

Comment: Ya know, it's also interesting to note that the late child actress Judith Barsi, the voice of Ducky from "The Land Before Time" and Anna-Marie from "All Dogs Go to Heaven" (both by Don Bluth) was also in "Jaws: The Revenge".

Comment: This, my dear Fellow, is one of your finest. "Jay and Silent Bob meet Jaws." Why not? That's gotta be one of the silliest movie ideas ever. "Whoa, Silent Bob. We're, like, totally cruisin' this beach, yo! My boy back in town said we could score some MAJOR tuna here, bro. I'm totally up for some tuna, but this whole wading in the water thing is SO gay! Hey, Silent Bob, where'd you go, man? OH S#%T! SNOOTCH TO THE NOOTCH!"

Comment: I'm surprised You didn't mention more Jaws tributes over the years like Back to the future 2 where the theater has Jaws 12 or Finding Nemo where the great white shark is named Bruce

Comment: I've only seen part of the first Jaws, so it was cool to take a look at all of the movies (and its steady decline in quality). I admit, the shark didn't look very realistic in the first movie, but it was the times they didn't show the shark as it attacked that were the scariest, for me, anyway. Good job, sir!

Comment: The first movie had the best character development and pacing and the shark looked the most realistic, the second movie sure the effects were a little better and they could show the shark more there is one shot were the shark's mouth bends making it look weird and the pacing is a little slow at times, the third like you said is quite silly and has the worst effects, and as for the fourth it's sort of a type of movie ripe for parody only the opening kill has any sort of terror involved, the pacing is incredibly slow, and the shark looks so fake at times.

Comment: What did you think of the Nostalgia Critic's review of Jaws 3-D? That Fellow: I think it's probably his funniest review of the year so far. Definitely explained spot-on why Jaws 3 is so terrible.

Comment: You should see the Siskel and Ebert review of Jaws: The Revenge to how terrible it is. Not to mention that it got nominated for numerous Golden Rapberries including Worst Picture and the biggest Joeseph Sargent who did The Taking Of Pelham 123 (the film which inspired Quentin Tarantino's colour-coded gangsters in Resevoir Dogs) which starred Robert Shaw.

Comment: There actually WAS a Jaws 5. It wasn't endorsed by Universal, though, and it's pretty much just an exploitation film. You can see the Cinema Snob's review of it here. http://thecinemasnob.com/2009/08/18/jaws-5-cruel-jaws.aspx

Comment: Agree, the sequels could not duplicate the first film Jaws. A fifth sequel will not overpass the surprise of seeing the gigantic shark on the film. The final scene of Jaws in your video was a spoiler for those who did not watch the film. This film made people at the beach frightened to get into the water and many people claimed seeing sharks after the film was release.

Comment: most people don't like Jaws 4 because of it's premise. but I believe most creatures on this planet are sentient, so why can't an animal have a comprehension of revenge?

Comment: I'm surprised you didn't mention that famous rule that Jaws established: the "wait an hour before you show the monster" rule. But oh well, I still enjoyed Jaws! By the way, I heard they were remaking Jaws. I think they should abandon that idea, seeing as the original is perfect & it even has the 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Your thoughts? -Danny

Comment: I never saw the Jaws movies and I don't intend to. Why? Because I'm not a fan of movies that are about animals attacking and/or people and I'd rather not be afraid of going in the water. I also avoid this genre.
