Comment: I've watched this show since I was five years old and I still love it nearly twelve years on. I've watched every single episode from the DVD collection and some of them are great. I also think "Meet The Beat-Alls" is one of my favourites because I was introduced to the Beatles soon after I began watching this show, and although I'm by no means a hard-core Beatles fan, I still frequently listen to their music, and have a favourite (John Lennon for his creative lyrics). I also enjoy "Just Another Manic Mojo" and "Pee Pee Gs" mostly for the endings - Mojo saving the day in one, and claiming the reason he was pouring water on the girls' bed at midnight was because "I just don't like you." One of the best animated shows EVER!

Comment: Loved the show as a kid! "Satire on the superhero genre." Never thought of it like that. And I really like the movie and I thought it held up pretty well.

Comment: Good look-back on a great cartoon show. I loved almost all of the "Cartoon Cartoon Fridays" block though. But PPG is one of their bests. I loved Mojo Jojo.

Comment: IGN made a list of the 100 greatest animated series and this was in 43°. It's a great show, it was the only show that starred girls that boys weren't affraid to say they loved it.

Comment: Have you ever seen the anime? In all seriousness they took an american cartoon based on Japanese super hero fighting style anime and turned it into an anime... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A06jJSXDimU
freaky...
I always felt the "Cartoon Cartoons" were more aimed at teenagers and young adults than kids... and the time slot proved that...
I really like McCracken... I think "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" was a really great series... it's too bad it seems to have died off...

Comment: I loved The Powerpuff Girls!
Bubbles was my favorite character, she's so cute.^^
Him was the only villain that confused me of what gender he/she is because the voice and the outfits throw me off.

Comment: Oh yeah! The Powerpuf Girls rock! I actually kinda had doubts about it a few years ago, but that's another story. I think it's cute, funny, and totally action packed and awesome. I've been rewatching it lately.

Comment: As a kid, I disliked PPG and only watched it when nothing else was on, though I did enjoy some of the characters such as Mojo Jojo and Him. Now that I'm older and get the jokes, I've gained more respect for the show and realize that it was definitely one of the best ones on CN (though I'm still not a fan of it). Overall, a great retrospective video and the Beatles references made me laugh.

Comment: And it is just me, or does it seem that whenever a fictional character is given the title "Professor," he or she is either a criminal mastermind (notibly Prof. Moriarty from the Sherlock Holmes stories and Prof. Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective) or a lovable but bumbling semi-genius (notibly Prof. von Drake from the Mickey Mouse universe and Prof. Utonium from this show)?

Comment: I've always loved the Powerpuff Girls! Blossom was always my favorite (although none of my other friends seemed to like her.) And I agree, CN now is CRAP! The only shows on there I actually like are Ben 10: Alien Force, Teen Titans (when it's on,) and Total Drama Island (which, admittingly, is a Canadian import AND a reality show of sorts; sorry.)

Comment: I remember this show when I was little and never realized how violent it was but thats ok. THis was a great lookback episode of a show that was just as good as I remember. And the meet the beet-als episode was funny being a beatle fan getting all beatle references. P.S. Speking of which, did you read my comment on the the disney lookback 1986-1989 episode?

Comment: Combinding the Superman idea with the violence from Ren & stimpy and giving it that girly charm is just genius, but I think it could have been better if they use mutch more detailed animation(like in Ren & Stimpy).

Comment: Hey didya kno that japan made an anime based off of this!!!!!!!
To tell you the truth I was dissapointed in it no where close o the original story, let me just say this, the prof. has a son and a robot dog,the girls are teenagers(I actually liked that factor)BUT they were'nt created from sugar spice and everything nice, mojo was'nt the prof.'s lab monkey but one in the zoo who just got hit by this chemical thingy and all of a sudden wanted to rule the world, action sequences were dull,ect... It did have it's positives and I laughed a lot,but still....OH and the girls fly and to atacck use there special weapons ,a yoyo(blossom),a hammer(buttercup),and a bubble wand(take a wild guess)

Comment: I enjoyed the first couple of seasons of PPG, then it got rather boring during the later seasons when CN gave in to soccer moms' protests and toned the violence down considerably. Only a few real gems came after that.
And I personally enjoyed the movie. It was the last "episode" to return to the series' roots. I've seen it several times and I still love it.
