Comment: Does anybody here think Jiminy needs a film like this but a MILLION times better? It would be awesome as I think that a cricket tops a pixie any old day! (No offence to people who like Tinkerbell!)

Comment: I'm surprised that you didn't pointed out that the movie, especailly the land and village of Pixie Hallow, ripped-off the lands and villages of "The Smurfs," "Ferngully," "Strawberry Shortcake," "Rainbow Bright," "My Little Pony," and "Barbie Fairytopia(which came out 3 years before this movie) ".

Comment: This movie is on my list of most underated movies, along with Kazaam, Space Jam, and A troll in central park! I love how they totally trash the character of tinkerbell and replace it with a half-assed cliched excuse of an omage to the origional! :)))))))) (im not smiling)!... Sorry that was a random thing that should've been deleted.

Comment: The problem I had w/ this film besides it's destruction of Tinkerbell's character was the total lack of Peter Pan... well... maybe if we all collectively ignore it, it will fade into obscurity... Personally, I don't hate the title change to Rapunzel... I ALSO NOTICED THAT GIRL WAS WENDY!!! Other people tried to tell me it wasn't, but it clearly is! Which makes Peter's total abscence from the film EVEN MORE CONFUSING!!! I totally agree with you about kid's entertainment today...

Comment: Changing Rapunzel to Tangled is one of the most stupid decisions ever taken by Disney. They were expecting that the new title would appeal more to the little boys. But Tangled doesn't appeal to absolutely ANYONE. Boys or girls, old or young. The name Tangled may even make people don't want to watch it.

Comment: When I first saw the teaser trailer, I was really excited. I thought it was going to be more like "Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg", but I was wrong. They didn't even have Mother Dove for crying out loud! The book (and it's sequel "Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand") were sooooo much better than this crap! I think the books were written by the same author as "Ella Enchanted".

Comment: Wait, wasn't Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty also a fairy? True, she was evil, but she would've made an AWESOME Disney Fairies villain (a LOT better than Miss Vidia!) And you forgot to mention that Mae Whitman also voiced Katara in Nickelodeon's Avatar: the Last Airbender. Cool interview w/ JM Barrie!

Comment: I Agree with you completely! The film bugged me so much because tinkerbell was nothing like she was originally and the story was far too predictable and not really given a lot of time to even try to achieve that Disney Magic. When the movie started I thought It might of been some kind of prequel to how Tinkerbell met peter pan, but to my dismay it wasn't. Also I dont think you should be so harsh on Mae Whitmans prefomance but on the screen writers because I think Mae did good with what they[screen writers] gave her and with what character they turned Tink into. but thats just me.... ANd must I say Kristen Cheinowith(or however your names spelled) WHYYYY!!!!! Rob Paulsen had to do the film too.but at least his character was somewhat interesting.

Comment: Loved the talk with the creator of Peter Pan, James Barrie. Agree with you, Disney lost an opportunity to have a beautiful film. It could have used Miyazaki art and beautiful drawings.
