Comment: I first saw AKIRA when I was ten years old on the channel formerly known as Sci-Fi and bought the movie on DVD when it was remastered and redubbed by Pioneer a few years before they tragically changed there name to Geneon and went out of business a year later. I am very fond of the old Pioneer intro with the omega-tuning fork. That was also the time when Central Park Media and it subsidiary US Manga Corps went under and I'm still waiting for Photon: the Idiot Adventures to be re released by its new owner. I just hope AKIRA is reissued on Blu-Ray eventually.. I was lucky to have seen Steamboy in the theater in its limited release. I was not lucky enough to see AKIRA in the theater during its re-release.

Comment: TMS is also my favorite Japanese animation studio, their work is amazing and looks very advanced like for instance some scenes in Akira look like they were done in CGI but they weren't and their work in the Lupin the Third movies are also brilliant especially Farewell to Nostradamus you should check that one out if you haven't seen it yet.

Comment: Live action Akira sounds excellent on paper if it's made in Japan with japanese actors and filmmakers. Less Like Dragonball Evolution: yes, more like Speed Racer: Hell No! Americans would butcher it to death making it all flash and no substance.

Comment: @... uh... the last person who commented?
Thatfellowinthecoat has made it pretty clear over the past that he's not a fan of Pokemon, so I doubt that'll ever happen. And before you ask, I remember a comment response on his old youtube account saying he doesn't care for the games either.

Comment: I see you are quite fond of anime. Some time ago you made a countdown of your favorite cartoons. Do you plan to do one for your favorite animes? You also made a lookback at super mario bros. Do you have any plans for other Nintendo franchises like The Legnd of Zelda, Metroid, Kirby and Pokémon?

Comment: Very nice video Mr. Fellow. I know this may seem off topic from this video, but have you ever considered doing a tribute to the man who did poster art for many movies from the Disney Renaissance and other movies like E.T. and Blazing Saddles? His name is John Alvin.

Comment: Huh. Great video here. I never thought these three films could go together in any way. In any case, it is a shame that Little Nemo bombed. They made an awesome arcade game for it.

Comment: To Anne - "Little Nemo in Slumberland" came out first in Japan then the game, "The Dream Master", came out later as a tie-in. For some reason, Capcom decided to release the game a year later in North America and the rest of the world, two years before the movie would be released on local theaters.
