Comment: Also, in my first comment here, the word I was looking for when commenting about "South Park" was vulgarity, not adult humor. But like I said, I take back what I said about that show, and now realize how smartly written it can be. Just ignore my first two comments on this video. I typed them pretty much without thinking first, and I sounded very ignorant and rude in them. Sorry for how many comments I've been leaving on this video lately. I just really want to clear up some dumb things I've said here earlier. This is a fantastic list Mr. Coat! Even though I would've included some of these in a different order, you did a great job with this list and have very good choices!

Comment: I apoligize for sounding kind of rude in one of my earlier comments, I actually take back some of what I said about #3. And in reply to Andrew's comment: I've seen "Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures". It was really good, but "Ren & Stimpy" was NOT a bad copy. R&S creator, John Kricfalusi was one of the head writers and animators for "Mighty Mouse", so how could he rip-off a show he had a lot to do with in the first place? And if anything "Ren & Stimpy" was an imporvement over "Mighty Mouse", though it was still very good too.

Comment: #10 - Who doesn't love the Looney Tunes? Anyone who dislikes them has no idea what good cartoons really are. But the Looney Tunes shorts had so many different incarnations to television, that if I made this list I wouldn't really count it. #9 - Awesome. Just awesome. Darkwing was the man. Err, I mean the duck! I always loved this show, and I always will. #8 - An other one of my all-time favorites. It's a shame it was canceled so fast. #7 - Man you sure do know great animated television. This show truly is Sonic's only good animated TV series. And one of the best cartoons ever! #6 - An other awesome one! Ren and Stimpy are hilarious. I love them with all my heart, and "The Ren & Stimpy Show" is just amazing. How could anyone possibly hate this show? Anyone who does just doesn't have a sense of humor. I would've ranked this show just a little bit higher though. #5 - Heard of it. Never seen it though. But I hear really good things about it. #4 - I love this show. Bender is hilarious. I would've ranked it just a little bit lower. #3 - I hate it. Bad choice Fellow. How dare you put this garbage above Ren & Stimpy or Darkwing Duck! I admit it's kinda funny sometimes, but it's mostly disgusting, and immature. This show is just overrated. The creators must be sick, messed up people. #2 - Amazing, awesome, incredible, superb, FANTASTIC! This show definately deserves to be here. I love it. #1 - An other great choice! A hilarious show that definately deserves to be #1. Good list Fellow. though I wuld've included some others like: "Rocko's Modern Life", "The Tick", "The Critic", "Doug", "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast", "Ed, Edd n Eddy", "Garfield and Friends", "The Simpsons", and "Earthworm Jim". I definately wouldn't have included crap like "South Park", but overall pretty good list. But I think you should've made it five-parted episode and a top 50 so you could include more good shows. Really happy to see "Ren & Stimpy", "Animaniacs", "Freakazoid", "Futurama", "Darkwing Duck" and all that stuff in the list, but I just can't get over the fact that you put that supid South Park higher than a lot of show that are much better.

Comment: I don't need to offend anyone, but I need to point this out: Sonic originated as a video game franchise, not a cartoon franchise. Sure, Sonic may have had animated adaptions but so did many other video game franchises (i.e. Mario, Pokemon, the list goes on and on), so stop grouping Sonic with the cartoon side of fictional characters. And what is with everyone being obsessed with nostalgia, lately? There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a new favorite or two in life, yet people whine and moan on how they want their beloved childhood shows back on the air or something. I may be sorry, but the entire Disney Afternoon lineup is so overrated that no one pays any attention to all the other shows, both old and new, anymore. It's sad, because hearing how great people think these shows are is starting to get old and weary.

Comment: Also, I loved the 80s-90s Ninja Turtles cartoon as kid, and the five-part miniseries that made up the first season were great, and some of the later seasons, particularly 2 and 3 had their moments, but in retrospect, it's one of the weaker aspects of the franchise IMHO. I much prefer the original Mirage comics, and the more recent cartoon managed to stay very true to the story of the older comics while adding some new twists and turns and being more kid-friendly than those comics were

Comment: How can you say Animaniacs was the best animated series? I love the Warners, Slappy Squirrel and of course Pinky & The Brain, and the Goodfeathers and Rita & Runt had their moments, but everything was at least as formulaic and repetitive as Scooby-Doo, if not more (Buttons & Mindy, Chicken Boo, and Katie Ka-Boom were almost literally the same story EVERY single freaking time!). And the Hip Hippos are despised even by (in fact, especially by) the most die hard fans. And when the show moved from FOX Kids to Kids WB, the quality took a huge hit and everything just felt largely lackluster (the Pinky & the Brain spin-off show had good writing and stories, but had mediocre animation and wasn't really cartoony in the least, and ironically the Hippos were a bit funnier in the WB network years, but everyone else got worse).
