Comment: @William-Just in case you're wondering, it's unlockable if you have the PSP remake of MegaMan X. You get if after beating the game, it's pretty good, really explains why Sigma became evil and all.

Comment: You guys hit it right on the money. Though I would have gone with 1. Sharptooth 2. Headless Horseman and 3. Monstro. To this day all three of these guys scare me. Sharptooth always ticked me off because I felt like he was killing my mom. I always used to pretend that I was Littlefoot and Littlefoot's mom was my mom. Anyways great review guys.

Comment: @Ebalance: Don Bluth didn't do "We're Back! A Dinosaurs story". James Horner however did the music. He did music for "The Land Before Time" and "An American Tail". Two films that Bluth did do.
Name: Ebalance
Date And Time: 2011-11-05 15:22:37
Comment: Actually the thing in a Don Bluth movie that scared the S*** out of me was the Mouse of Minsk... also the creepy evil experiments of that deranged scientist in "We're Back"... Sharptooth was scary, but not as scary as those things
Fortunately or unfortunately the book Coraline is much scarier than the film, and the film is pretty scary... Neil Gaiman's villains are EPIC...

Comment: Great list, guys! Wasn't expecting #1, but I definitely can see why! Other monsters/villains that personally scared the bejeezuz out of me when I was young were Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" (how many other villains do you know can turn themselves into a freakin' dragon?), Jafar from "Aladdin" (same deal w/ Maleficent, only switch dragon with giant cobra), and Professor Ratigan from "The Great Mouse Detective" (to this day I cannot watch the scene where he turns into a psycho feral rat and beats Basil half to death without covering my eyes, and I'm 22!) Happy belated Halloween!

Comment: #13: Perfect voice casting for that character! I get chills when he says 'My wings are a HURRICANE!' #12: Never seen that. #11: better place for that guy. His roar is quite ominous though. #10: WOAH! That's intense! #9: !18:52 AAAHHH!!! #8: *gulp!* #7: Yikes! Also, Wolfgang Reitherman did the animation for the fight between the Stegosaurus and T-Rex in the "Rite of Spring" segment in "Fantasia". #6: Chernabog: The very awesome image of evil itself. Though I'd have to admit, the Firebird was also pretty intense. Modest Mussorgsky and Igor Stravinsky, we salute you! #5: Intimidating, isn't it? #4: ZOINKS! SHARPTOOTH!!! #3: That whole scene is SCARY! #2: Beowulf was awesome! #1: Even though I didn't particularly care for "Coraline", I must say the animation was a pure delight.

Comment: great job with the count down i would like to say your explanation about the snow monster makes sense i was wondering about why he was in the count down until you set up that scenario about how young children would have reacted to and thought about the snow monster now it makes perfect sense why he is in this list

Comment: Pretty good episode guys! It's actually alot better than the original which I liked though I'm glad that you kept that one up for historical reasoning. The only pick I REALLY disagree with is Hyrdra because he's so obviously CGI and sticks out like a soar thumb but I digress. Keep up the good work.

Comment: I was impressed with the picks (even though I do have a great hate for Zemeckis' Beowulf...seriously, he hated the original poem and I'm not fond of what he did to his version), but the only gripe I have is the lighting in Logan's footage (I understand its meant to be a Halloweenish episode, but could there be more light....not even a desk lamp?) and points where the "over-the-top" exaggeration felt unnecceassry when it could have been simply talked about. Call them nitpicks if you will, but that's all I have to say.

Comment: Great list! I was really happy to see your number one pick.
I don't want you to remake the list again, and I'm not criticizing your taste, but I just want to know: why wasn't the Horned King from The Black Cauldron on the list? Or machines like the Cat Beast and the Seamstress from 9?

Comment: don't listin to the haters that say the abominable snowman, he was scary when i was little. love the hydra, it scared me when i saw it in theater. *shivers* i agree with the headless horseman (both of them), but i think the horseless headless horseman is scarier. XD chernabog: damn, scary. the firebird scared me too, and i saw it in Imax! oh god, that rhino! when i was little, it scared me shitless. 0_o sharptooth is scary as hell! the devildog was a WTF moment! i've never seen this beowolf, but it is kind of creepy. now, at first, i was like "what?" but then, after thinking about it, i have to agree as well. she's creepy, sneaky and just plain creepy. now, i love this ton 13 list, but please don't get rid of the old one, please. oh! by the way, happy halloween.
