Comment: You two did it again. I haven't heard about this movie until I found out that you're going to review it. Well, to me, the only Will Vinton productions I've seen are those two Californian Raisins specials. As for the movie you've review, I will watch it one day. And enjoy it. Even the Mysterious Stranger scene. I've learn alot from this video about claymation and Will Vinton and Mark Twain.

Comment: You know, technically Twain did meet Tom and Huck. In the intro of Huck Finn, Huck explains that Twain wrote Tom Sawyer, but exaggerated the details a bit. So really, Tom and Huck meeting Twain within their own reality was predestined anyway.

Comment: By the way, if you like that movie very much, there is a similar Raskin&Bass movie like this called "The Daydreamer." Only it's about a teenage Hans Christan Andersen that suddens dreams about himself interacting with characters in his dreams that will soon be characters from his books (like the little mermaid, Thumbelina, and the ugly duckling). But unlike Mark Twain who was very nice to his characters, Hans wasn't very nice to his future mermaid character, well as his future Thumbelina character. And it stars two fimiliar characters you may recongized from the 1930's "Wizard of Oz" film.;)

Comment: GAAAAH! I don't know why, but claymation scares the crap out of me! Nice video, though. The part w/ Satan was absolutely PERFECT for the Halloween season. And BTW Jaimetud, I HAVE read the original jumping frog story, and it DID involve the frog swallowing heavy stuff, but in the original, he swallowed buckshot, not all that stuff they put in the film.
