Comment: This movie I found to be fairly standard and kinda bland... also the message seemed a bit mangled b/c of the fact that the main villain was indeed a dragon... just seems a little odd when the main message was that dragons aren't actually evil... it's like they said: Dragons are evil No, actually they're not evil Well... except for the one evil dragon... that dragon is evil... And then my brain was like... what?! Confusing, much? I mean... I get it b/c I'm an adult, but isn't this gonna confuse kids? Dreamworks needs to work on their message skills... Some examples: Prince of Egypt: Message is God is a jerk?! Shrek: Remember kids, revenge is good!!! And also blowing up cute little birds by singing, and then stealing the bird's eggs... This movie: Already said... they're improving? Or just getting more mixed up? Who can tell? I really like "The Flight of Dragons" I wish more people would seek out these Rankin Bass movies, they're really great!!!

Comment: I wish I saw this movie when it came out; instead I went to see "Hot Tub Time Machine". Now I have to wait till it comes out on DVD on October. DAMMIT! Anyway, I loved "Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real" which explored the possibilities that dragons existed, but humans drew them to extinction. While telling a kick-ass (pardon my language) story, it also explained how dragons could breath fire and fly, much like "The Flight of Dragons" you mentioned. Plus, I LOVE "Dragonheart", even if the story is hunky-dory. By the way, the movie you're reviewing was released on 2010, not 2009! Nobody's perfect, I guess. P.S. AVATAR ROCKS!!!

Comment: @Robert Larsson- I kinda see where you're coming from. Not all of his reviews are like that, true, but yeah, whenever he reviews a new movie, he briefly summarizes the plot (Which is considered professional) then spends the rest of it talking about stuff you can easily find on wikipedia like the voice actors or the soundtrack. And yeah, I often feel he's too generous too. How Monsters vs. Aliens is on the same level as Prince of Egypt I'm yet to figure out. Some of his older reviews could have been better too, like All Dogs go to Heaven. That one was basically 98% plot summary and 2% opinions with no explanation behind why the film only got 3.5/5. I wanna know why he lowered the score. I still respect Hewy and think he's a good reviewer, but yeah, you have a point.

Comment: Hey Hewy, If you have the time to take requests, may i suggest you review; 1; Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the rings and Rankin/Bass's The Hobbit and Return of the King 2; The secret of Kells, I saw small parts of it online and it looks amazing! Probably why it was nominated for best animated feature of 2009

Comment: Considering this movie is based by a book, I was wondering if you could do a review of Blue Sky's 2005 movie, Robots? Another famous children's book author, William Joyce happens to be one of the co-creators of that film

Awesome new opening clips! PS, did you get my request for a review of "The Great Mouse Detective?" I would be most grateful, Mr. Lewis!
