Comment: Star Fox Adventure does work on its own, but like you said, it's weird as a Star Fox game. Honestly, the only SF game I truly hate is Star Fox Command Mission with its frustrating time limit, horrible concept, its dumb story... the only good things about it are the controls are surprisingly effective considering most of them involve the stylus and Slippy is actually better than Fox.
