Comment: I remember back when it was first released it never came to my local theater or any neighboring ones and then I found out they would not release it on video and dvd for another year that made me so mad so when it was finally released I bought a copy on dvd and I wasn't disappointed, now it's something of a holiday classic for me.

Comment: Yeah, I don't really care for this film either. It's got a good setup and all, and it's nice to see a holiday film that isn't about just Christmas, but the jokes in this movie just get on my nerves, especially the deer pooping! We get it, it's cute animals taking rapid dumps! Stop shoving it in our faces already, film! Oh yeah, an old man having a seizure... that's just hilarious... not! Still, though, I do enjoy the songs, expect Long Ago, which tries to make up for its boring melody with the most forced jokes I've ever seen outside of a Friedberg and Seltzer film.
