Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated. But I don't think I was too nice to this show in this review. I went over what I like about it and what I don't like. The ultimate goal of this review wasn't to bash Glee. It was to inform.
And although I agree: the plot for the most part is terrible since it is usually centered around the songs in the episodes instead of around consistent characters, there is indeed a plot.
Also, I did touch on the fact that there are too many characters to develop all of them properly, as well.

Comment: In the words of the Nostalgia Critic, YOU'R TOO F---ING NICE. There's potential, but it's basically the same amount of potential as trying to audition for American Idol. Some of the characters are okay, while a few are completely RETARDED. They can sing like pros, but they don't belong on this. They deserve to make CDs and such, not doing it on a shit show like this! And plot? WHAT PLOT?! THERE IS NO PLOT! HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL HAS MORE PLOT THAN THIS, AND THAT WAS SHIT TOO! My thoughts: GO WATCH VH1 INSTEAD.

Comment: While CCR's version of Proud Mary is indeed awesome, it's actually Tina Turner's version of Proud Mary that Glee is covering.

I didn't say that Keep Holding On was a terrible song, I just said it was one of the more lackluster performances on the show IMO. The song itself is moving, I won't deny that. It just went on a bit too long for my taste.
And don't get me wrong, I loved the slow version of Poker Face. It was gorgeous. But the fact that it was used as a mother-daughter duet seemed off to me. I think they could have found a better song for the Lea Michele and Idina Menzel that still showcased their voices.
And these are just my opinions. I asked all my friends what their favorite and least favorite performances on Glee were and why, and wouldn't you know it? Some songs made both the favorite list and the least favorite list. It's all a matter of personal taste. I'm sure a lot of people could argue with my favorite performances.

Comment: I love Glee's "Keep Holding On". Call me a pussy or wtv but every time I watch the video. I know they used it for Quinn being Prego, but it spoke to me as I have gone threw dark times.
Emma enjoyed it because she love(d) Will.
I am not a Gaga fan but liked Poker Face by Glee, but I agree that it was creepy.
I wouldn't say the theme is they are losers per say. I think it is about being outcasts which you could argue is another word for Loser, but I personally think there are small differences.
I am a die hard Gleek.

Comment: I love "The Simpsons", but the season preimere was TERRIBLE!!! I heard that it's a parody of Glee and that was done so well it virtually sucked as much the show it made fun of!
