Comment: Say, I know this is, like, a super-late comment, but while you do explain how this film's not as bad as Pebble and the Penguin, I'm still not sure how it's worse than A Troll in Central Park. Give Penguin some credit: at least it sticks to telling a story instead of padding itself out with pointless filler and the scene with the whales was more like classic 80's Bluth. Troll didn't have any of that, so I fail to see how TPATP is worse than ATICP.

Comment: P.S. Have you ever thought re-tellings of Don Bluth's (worst) films would be better then the original movies themselves? If they manage to fill up the plot-holes, develope the characters more, add some common sense, better heroes and villains, ect. better then what Don Bluth did. I did I re-telling of "Rock-a-Doodle" as well as my own version of "Thumbelina" (not the Bluth version, the original one), and they turned out better then the films they were based on.

Comment: Hey, RR, I'm not trying to be a bother but... WHEN DOES YOUR NEXT VIDEO COME OUT?!?! I've been waiting for about 2 months now and yet you've never posted a new Radical Reviewer video. What gives?

Comment: If you thought Don Bluth's "Thumbelina" was weak, you should've the direct-to-video movies about a crossover of Tom Thumb and Thumbelina. One that was made by Sanban and the other from Family Home Entertainment (I think). Both versions of the crossover sucked.Poor animation, weak plots, and a big waste of talent of the actors that were hired to do the voices. Good luck with your review on "The Trumpet of the Swan." But I'm warning you hearing Seth Green (who voices Boiyd in the movie) sing is just bad as hearing Chad Michael Murray singing "Hit Me Baby" in "Freaky Friday."

Comment: @ PianoMan I saw the Chick's review as well but I liked this one better because RR DID point out the flaws instead of pointlessly bashing it.

Comment: @Chris Sorry, but that's unlikely. I really want to move on from Don Bluth's work and have already constituted a schedule for the next 3-4 reviews. Besides, Doug has already made a good review on the movie, so I don't want to reiterate what he's already said. Why did I do Thumbelina then, if Lindsay has already done it too? Because I had completely different reasons why I find this movie flawed and wanted to state them in my review. In Rock-A-Doodle's case I have pretty much the same opinion as Douglas.

Comment: @999 Thanks for the support, but PianoMan is far from being Douchey. I mean I remember seeing a thread on TGWTG forums, created right after NC released his Top 11 F*ck-Ups, where people started making another list, some even including the purposely made typo at the end of the original video. Now that's Douchey. @PianoMan And I must apologize for overreacting. I value your opinion like any one's other and you definitely have the right to stick to it. If it wasn't for fans like you, who can easily point out to a reviewer, when he's wrong, then people like me (Or anybody else) would continue to make the same mistakes and would never learn. I mean, even your harshest comments about ADGTH 2 and TPATP taught me to always and I mean ALWAYS do my research and even now, after explaining why you found the reciting of the plot-holes repetitive, I'm going to revise my reviews and find an easier and more entertaining way to do this. So, thanks ;)

Comment: I was re-thinking what you said and gave your review a second look with an open mind this time. I found it to be a little more entertaining, but somehow just didn't have the charm the others had (not camera wise. Ones like King and I). Still, I think the bit where you question the numerous plot flaws could have been done in one scene rather then revisiting it again and again and again to the point of wrapping up the review. I quess what ruined it for my viewing was knowing how the Chick did this and had a feeling that it would have the same setup of jokes and questionings of the film (Disney rip-offs, the twist with the French Swallow at the end, and Jodi Benson) It just felt like watching a re-run with new footage in a different light and it didn't show things in another light. Still, despite this, I think you do have potential with this series. I apologize if I was too harsh and made an idiot of myself and be glad I'm not a troll. Btw 999, we are entitled to our own opinion. I know I sounded like a schmuck first time around, but at least give me credit for correcting myself.

Comment: Your comment starts to perplex me even more after reading your criticism on my previous two reviews. Agreed, in ADGTH 2 Review I really f*cked up with the facts. But in The Pebble and The Penguin Review all I did was dare to *GASP* say that TO ME was worse then Troll and Thumbelina. That's all. Oh and the fact that I forgot to mention that Mr. Bluth left the production process when the movie was almost finished. My mistake? Yes. But answer me this - how the hell does that justify all the deus ex machina bullcrap in the movie? It doesn't. And here's the funniest part. Now, when I reviewed Thumbelina, got my facts straight and actually pointed out why this movie is flawed - you tell me that this review was worst then the previous two and that the elaborations weren't necessary? As much as I am willing to accept any form of criticism, but you keep contradicting yourself.

Comment: Excuse me for actually trying to review a movie...? And since when did actually pointing out the movie's flaws become repetitive and boring? I always though it was a part of a reviewers job, no? Seriously though, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the majority seems to find this review to be my best and the new more analytical approach to be a big improvement of the series. And just out of curiosity, to what "old" RR are you referring to? (Example of the review) Because if you're referring to the early goofy stile of the first reviews (The ones with the sh*ty camera), then the hell am I returning back to that.

Comment: Let's hope this is the last time you review anything Don Bluth related. This is not making me change my mind about the previous two. To be fair, it did manage to differ from Nostalgia Chick's review, but it was just so boring. And the recaps of the plot hole were repetive and unfunny. What ever happened to the old Radical Reviewer? I miss that. Hopefully seeing teddy bears that shoot lasers from thier tummy will pain you to the point of insanity.

Comment: @Jaimetud Ah, yes! I was expecting someone to bring up Lindsay's review and yes, I know she already covered this movie before, but the reason I decided to review this movie because... 1) I had totally different reasons to not like it and I've stated them in my review. 2) It was sort of an answer to the comments saying that I should check out Thumbelina for it is much worse. And finally 3) I'm not one of those people who think that if someone has already covered (or just simply mentioned) this or that particular movie in their review then no one else has a right to even think about it.

Comment: Yunno, I thought this review might be a little stale since Lindsay already tackled it, but it actually wasn't. This is the only Don Bluth movie that made me genuinely uncomfortable just while watching it, and I'm the guy who liked "Rock-A-Doodle."

Comment: This movie is just so incredibly stupid! The heroine is unlikeable, the villains are lame, and the prince is just plain lame! It's like a stupid parody of an already weakass Disney parody! NOBODY CAN FUCKING TOP DISNEY, PEOPLE! And is it just me, or do all the "love stories" that Jacquamole (or however the hell you spell his name, I really don't give a fuck) mentions end very, very badly? I mean, Delilah betrays Samson and Romeo and Juliet both commit suicide! Not exactly romantic stuff, bird!

Comment: Well, I hope you still make that Trumpet of the Swan review. I saw it recently and hated it too. Again, I can't bring myself to hate any Bluth film, but this one does kinda aggrivate me at times. Not only does it feel rushed after the plot (Which took 20 minutes to reveal itself) comes along, but Thumbelina is the most unlikable character in the whole thing. She always looks like she's going to trip and fall over and every time a random character starts singing to her, she immediately changes her mind about what she wants.
