Comment: Honestly, I thought the Tim Burton "Alice in Wonderland" was much better than the original Disney animated movie. I mean, c'mon, in the original Alice was a brat who wouldn't listen to her sister, the residents of Wonderland were all either completely insane or just plain jerks, and the Queen of Hearts, in my opinion, is one of the WORST Disney villains in history (unlike Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen...DAMN!)

Comment: Entertaining for me.... but was a bit dissapointing, especially the title. This would have been better if Burton would have adapted the American McGee Alice instead of this. So is so-so for me.

Comment: I just saw it in 3D and you have right that it is not something spectacular. You have sumit up all my own comments for this movie, the only thing I disagree on here is The Cat witch I feelt wasent very entartaining. The movie can be sumit up with one word: solid. Are you gonna see "How to Train Your Dragon"? That Fellow: I plan on seeing How to Train Your Dragon. I don't think I will be doing a Brief Film Review of it, though.

Comment: Alice in Wonderland was not worth the price of admission. I went to see it the previous Wednesday. The 3D not only dissapointed me, it was actually distracting. Unlike Avatar, which was filmed in 3D; Alice in Wonderland had it shot regularily and edited into 3D on the computer. It made it uncomfortable to watch and unbelivably fuzzy to look at. I had to rub my repeatedly to see what was going on. The movie was dissapointing as well, every single character was underdeveloped, except Alice who was (in my opinion) way too overplayed and really annoying. Ohh The Mad Hatter, well, Tim Burton had to use Johnny Depp somewhere, so why not the Mad Hatter? The Mad Hatter is supposed to be crazy, old, and yelling. He is portrayed as an innocent, cute and childish hatter. Whyy? Also, just a personal statement, I in general think that this movie shouldn't have been adapted, ever. The novels had our adrenaline on Speed, and because of the so extreme surrealism in it, no one ever had the same pictures of what Wonderland looked like. Our imagination was without limits, but now we're forced to accept that the Red Queen HAS to look like Helena Bonham Carter. The Cheshire Cat, Di & Dum, a worm on LSD, The Mad Hatter, The Red Queen, Alice, etc. etc. He should have left them alone. I find this a typical Tim Burton movie. Dissapointing and nothing like the visual genious the public claims him to be. Good review none the less, hope to see more :)

Comment: I loved this film to pieces! (I just saw it like 3 hours ago) but I do have sort of and issue with the Mad hatter, I agree that he doesn't exactly seem "mad" enough. :P But one of the reasons I loved it so much is because the Cheshire cat is by far my favorite character and they did him so well in the movie! Plus I thought the visuals were great too. Nice review! I hope to see some more from you for some other movies coming out soon :D
