Comment: I do agree that this movie is bad and embarassing for Disney, but what did you mean by "screwed up morals"?

Comment: @Ebalance - The alleged "original theatrical" version contained on the Platinum Edition DVD is NOT the real theatrical cut. It is the version that was released in IMAX a few months before the DVD, which contains a couple of alterations to the animation and the logos and credits.

Comment: Actually I think you can watch the theatrical version of TLK on that DVD, but YES... hard as F*** to find out how to do it, and I HATE THAT NEW SONG THEY ADDED!!!

Comment: @Meg - Thanks. But the issue with "Pocahontas" not being accurate is, like I said, that Roy Disney lied. @Dawn - *Huey. *Neither. *Nor. *Has.

Comment: Say what you want, people; I personally LOVED Pocahontas, it is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time. Was it true to American history/legend? F*ck no, but then again when has Disney EVER been completely faithful to the original sources of their movies? And yeah, "Mine Mine Mine" WAS a pretty cool song, but my personal fave was "Colors of the Wind" (yeah yeah, I know, sounds cliche as Hell, but it's really one of Disney's best songs, along with "Beauty and the Beast" from (DUH) Beauty and the Beast and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King.) Nice vid, Ryan!

Comment: @Morgan - 'Cause he's the Nostalgia Critic, silly! @Andrew - I do hope that it was a "nais" episode. @Anonymous - It is all subjective. Personally, "Pocahontas" is a mediocre film. Judging by your comment, you disagree. We each have our own opinions and are entitled to them. @Peter - They wouldn't make the menu system all stupid again, and I hope they will include some trailers and TV spots, but I highly doubt that the film's true theatrical cut will be included.

Comment: The opening's pretty funny, I must admit. Amerah seems like a funny addition, too. I hope to see more of her. I love the part with that fellow saying "No". It's so abrupt for him. So far, this is my favorite review from you... granted, you've only uploaded 3, but still.
Anyway, I'm mixed about this film too. I like the songs and the art style is very intriguing, resembling a painting. I also applaud the ending for being bittersweet, something you don't normally get from Disney.
Unfortunately, I don't find the main characters all that interesting, John Smith develops more than the title character and the romance feels just as contrived as the one in Snow White despite Disney trying to make it more believable. At least I felt somewhat of a connection between Charming and Snow White. I didn't detect anything other than infatuation between Pocahontas and Smith. I'm not even going to go into the gaping plothole about how Pocahontas was the only one who needed spiritual wisdom to understand English while everyone else understands them perfectly.
Seeing all these extended releases coming out makes me hopeful that Disney will do the same with Tangled, finally adding the first reprise of When Will my Life Begin, which isn't even under deleted scenes, and maybe show the first 2 musical numbers how they were supposed to be shown.
