Comment: 10. Arabian Nights, One jump, Prince Ali (and reprise)...Aladdin would never made my top ten, because I consider Jafar a cheap copy of Maleficient, plus the story is very contrived, but there are really more songs worth remembering in this one. 9. Saw this one two times in the theaters, but the only good thing in the sequel are the song imho 8. I so agree! It's a way underrated movie, and Phillip is still one of my fav. Princes (although he needs the help of the fairies to manage anything) 7. It's not that unique, most of the Disney Movies are based on books, the only unique thing is that they used the typical Fairy Tale Formula ("I want" and villain song aso) on this one. But yes, for Disney it's very dark. And I agree about Hellfire. 6. Loved this one (especially the music, but it's Hans Zimmer after all). But the sequels - not so much. I'm also peeved that they changed the original ride. 5. Nostalgic about that, because it brought me back to disney movies. But it would be lower on my list (not because it's not good, there are just some I like a little bit more) 4. You are right about this - and it's certainly a milestone of movie making. 3. Great one, too. But it's not true that Disney barely comes up with anything original - they don't do it often, but there is Lilo and Stitch and Dumbo, just to mention two on top of my mind. 2. True, it's the best Fairy Tale movie (although I like Rapunzel as a character even better than Belle). 1. Truthfully, somewhat predictable...it's seemingly always Beauty and the Beast or Fantasia. Great list - it's a little bit sad that you concentrated very much on the Fairy Tale movies. There are so many movies which are great in their own right, even if they are a little bit unusal for Disney. Lilo and Stitch for example. Or The Great Mouse Detective. And what about Mary Poppins and the other mixed movies?

Comment: Don't listen to jarrettsuhr. The Lion King 1/2 isn't that bad if you're in the right mood. It's more of a satire on the Lion King than an actual Lion King Film. It's not supposed to be taken seriously.

Comment: This video was done in 2009 before word leaked out about the third sequel at stranger tides which other then Barbosa the two hence comic relief characters jack sparrow and mr. Gibs possible has none of the original cast in it. A lot of people hated william turner in the first movie. The actor that played him is a very hit and miss celebrate like tom hanks you either love him hate him our your undecided. Little mermaid was one of the first gave me nigmares till I was in my teens the water down sequel not as much. The prequil movie I never saw.

Comment: To Roshitushu I used to like Disney as a whole now the last 2 to 9 years I have only liked the characters. The company did a lot of stuff over the course of the last 26 years and before that was a stupid dumb some what dishonorable and could have been consider copyright violations others things similar to that. Like for example here some situations. Like lion king 1 and 2 more in the first one they borrowe d our stole the ideas of scar and simba and mofusa from an anima done in the 1960 called kimba the white lion did not knwoledge our credit the people that made it. They also just as bad a saban maybe worse censored they heck out of the super sentai series to make it airable on us television. I saw a lion king 1 1/2 it was shit. They basically remade the first film but said fuck it to Simba and Nala and scar ignored them. Instead it focus practically almost entirely on timmom and pumba the show Timmone get banished meeting pumba they add in his grand and uncle to fool fans into think it was and genuine medical. It's then ruin around try to avoid become dinner for the 3 hynes there the main focuses instead of scar. WTf epic fail

Comment: Ugh. I'm sick of people treating The Lion King like it's better then everything else. It is not. I hate that movie so much that I wish it was never even made. Heck, I'm not even a Disney fan but The Lion King has got to be the worst scum that Disney ever made in their 87-year history (besides Kingdom Hearts of course). People say so many bad things about other 2-D animated films just because they either like The Lion King better or they think that The Lion King can kick everyone's buttocks (which is so wrong). The hyena trio has got to be the most hideous characters in the whole movie, enough that even people who appreciate real-life spotted hyenas tend to dislike the terrible trio from this film (Shenzi, Banzai and Ed have got to be putrid excuses for fictional characters. I wish they died in the movie. Anyone who likes them has got to be kidding themselves). I don't mean to offend anyone, and I'm sorry, but The Lion King is sickeningly overrated and it would be nice if some other film (or rather, all the other films) would beat it in the box office and critical acclaim for a change.

Comment: The Lion King is my second favorite movie overall... hence, my favorite Disney Movie... I like how the first one is like Hamlet, the second one is like Romeo & Juliet, and 1 1/2 is like that Rosencrans & Guildenstern thing... it's Shakespeare for kids!!! You gotta love it... Pirates of the Carribean so ripped off it's story from the song, "Do it Again," by Steely Dan... seriously... listen to the song Little Mermaid has two TERRIBLE SEQUELS... What about Mary Poppins for live action movies w/animated characters? That's way older... Rodger Rabbit is actually really scary I think... good movie, but TERRIFYING in places... Why does everybody hate Space Jam so much? I'm a HUGE Chuck Jones fanatic and animation buff, and I don't really see what's so awful about it... then again, I also don't see what's so wonderful about Tim Burton... so I guess it's just a matter of taste... I do like "The Nightmare Before X-mas" but that and "Big Fish" are the only Burton movies I really like... I guess I'm just not into things that are creepy... Belle does marry the Beast at some point... come on... they do... even if they didn't show the freakin' wedding in the movie... she's a princess... but what confuses me is how this society survived so long without a king... weird... I think in the original story the Beast was a Marquis, which makes much more sense politically. Also, did you know the Beast's name is Adam? It's true... yeah... that's a very French name... stupid sequel... I too love Fantasia! I'm so sad they changed the parade at Disneyland b/c they took out the mushrooms and dancing flowers from Fantasia... that makes me sad...

Comment: Fantasia is awsome, but when I first TRIED to see it when I was 7, that first segment just turned me off. I kept fastforwarding it but it never seemed to end. When I finally did see it when I was 13, I realized it was a good thing I didn't see it then. If I had seen the Bald Mountin segment when I was little, I would have pissed my pants and then chuck the VHS out my bedroom window!!! Personally, I like the sequel more, but I can't really explain why.

Comment: I loved Fantasia as a kid! And did you know that the Centaur scene was edited because the original version was racially insensitive? (Stereotypical black centaurs shining hooves of white centaurs like the idea of the black shoeshine boy) And Fantasia 2000 was also a great movie. I especially liked the Rhapsody in Blue scene. George Gershwin FTW!

Comment: 6. No, actually Beverly Hills Chihuahua was #1 at the box office when it was released. I think G-Force actually did really well too. They've been doing really well, and I think that's why Disney continues making low-quality live action movies. 5. And how does Ariel keep that figure after having a kid? 4. Well, Space Jam was sort of a marketing movie for Nike Air Jordans, and don't forget Jessica Rabbit, along with the other early-90s female anthros she warped an entire generation of male minds. 3. Has Tim Burton ever made a bad movie? I mean look at Coraline! It's awesome! 2009 was a good year for animated movies, Coraline, Ponyo, Monsters vs. Aliens, Up, and I think more are to come.

Comment: #9: I saw the trailers for Lion King 1.5 and I was like WTF? What's with all the fart jokes? #8: Yes, Maleficent is hardcore! She is so cool! And I thought of Auora and the Prince were more toys for Maleficent to screw around with. The old fairies were more prominent. #7: I heard Esmeralda dies in the end. (I remember reading an abridged version in the third grade or something.)
