Comment: To M3333: Don't you mean Monty Python's Spansih Inquisition. And yes, I did see the old SNL and the Muppets weren't on there all the time. They were there for only one season and one episode from Season 2. They were Land of Gorch and I found them to be funny. However, the crew thought puppets with the SNL cast didn't jell and so they decided to let them out of thier contract mid way and made constant jokes of them being fired throughout the near end of Season One. That and The Muppet Show was finally picked up.

Comment: Firstly, I agree with you that the being mean to Meg jokes aren't funny anymore. Not only have they milked it too long, I kind of like Meg. She has her funny moments. Second, I thought that Mike Matei played a better Cowardly Lion than Seth Macfarlane (FYI, Mike Matei is the guy who plays famous characters on the Angry Video Game Nerd. He was Jason, Bugs Bunny, The Joker, & the Cowardly Lion). Third, you should know that Marlee Matlin was actually in on the joke, which means she at least has a sense of humor. Fourth, I thought the Cal Johnson bit was funny. Anyway, I hope you found this interesting. I sure hope you re-hire Filmbuff for the generous gift he got you.
